Default clutch? drive shaft? rear end?

when driving around around town, if i don't engage the clutch in the EXACT right way (enough gas, pedal pulled out at the right area at the right time) i get a weird vibration in the car, almost like it could be coming from the rear end. it makes my going into first from a stop, into second, into 3rd, and 4th sometimes feel vibrationy and like it isn't going into gear correctly. IF i do it exactly the right way (which is with barely any gas, or taking it out with gas the exact correct way) it doesn;'t do it. perfect example is going into second at a very low rpm. if i give it too much gas it will kind of rev down slowly while vibrating the clutch pedal, and i can feel it in the car. it goes into gear very awkwardly.

i've hammered the gas in 4th and 5th at low rpms and haven't had any clutch slip. it might jump maybe 50 rpm but hardly noticable. it bangs into gear mostly.

"Jumping 50 rpm" at low revs means the clutch is slipping--it should lock in 100%, if not it's slipping or overloaded.

What RPMs are you shifting at, also with no offense intended are you experienced with RWD higher torque manual trannys?

These cars are basically 1/2 ton V8 pickups with flashy bodies, and they often exhibit the same driving characteristics....

What clutch do you have and how many miles are on your clutch?
Sounds like to me your clutch is failing.
If you have to replace your clutch look into getting a Centerforce
clutch I love mine!
