Default A few questions. (99 GT)

I just bought a 99 gt, and it has 93k miles. The car is 100% bone stock all the way to the separate casset and cd player. Mechanically its sound, the only thing i could find is it sounds like the throughout bearing squeaks a little. I plan on right away, change all the fluids to Amsoil (my preference), new breaks and maybe rotors if not turn-able, and a new clutch, with firewall adjuster. I hate the peddle travel. All that aside, is there anything to watch out for in this year Mustang? Thanks for any and all help.

Other thing, according to Haynes, it has a "T50 d" transmission. Ive been looking online and cant find anything on this transmission. It it a "low Duty" T5? I'm trying to look for a clutch and cant find info on it for input shaft spline count or size.

This. Get a replacement, they run less than $200 with the aluminium crossover, from most online outlets. My brother's '99GT had the stock manifold crack...that was an unnecessary PITA.

If you've got the $$$ to burn pick up a Bullitt manifold or even better, the aftermarket TFS Track Heat "equivalent" they'll run you about $800.

Ill work my way to a whole new intake. So far I changed the rear pads and rotors. Had a slider bolt rust stuck in one caliper bracket, so had to buy a new one. Fronts were brand new, so I'll wait till i can get some fancy rotors. The car runs strong, but has the throughout bearing squeak, and sounds like there is a bad bearing in the rear axle. I ran out of daylight today, but ill investigate more tomorrow. If it is, ill do a full rear axle rebuild, and If I can swing it, a set of gears.
