this is one of the best intro posts i've ever seen. lol. mmr900 and a kb2.6 would be awesome and i can't see why it wouldn't easily reach your goals. especially if you get the tf heads for it with nice cams. to respond to one of your posts you're gonna want the 2v heads as to thats what your came with, 4v heads are much better but you'd need quite a few things to make them work and it's much more money for cams and things like that. also, if you want the aluminum block go for it, i wouldn't spend the extra but it seems as you have plenty to play with so if you want it go for it, it's not any weaker and can handle it just not worth the extra cash to some.

Didn't read everything posted here but your best bet would be do a 4v swap and put a 2.8 kb or 3.4 whipple on it. Depending on mileage you might want to look into rebuilding the tanny.

Is selling the vert out of the question? Get 8-10k for that car. That would give you a good 40k or so to buy a cobra drop a big whipple on it and you would be set. This would save you alot of time and maybe even some money.

I'm going to keep my vert and go with the MMR900 (Aluminum 4.6) w/ported TFS 2v heads and 2.6 KB blower. I'll get all the best options for the short block (ARP hardware) windage tray and coated pistons. I have people "in the know" that will build the rearend, tie the frame together, brakes, roll cage & suspension work!! Thanks for all your input, you have all been a great help!!

I think i found a new idol.... This will be a great setup for you, and beat the chebby's all day long for half the price. Go crazy with Chassis strengthening as a vert is already a few steps behind, and that kind of power will need a lot of chassis work to be able to use it at low speeds and not permanently twist the chassis and mess up the doors and such.

600-700 HP and being able to use it(traction) on the street will make a mean ride.

Ok...so my buddy's 750rwhp single 76mm turbo supra lost to his friend's c6z that had exhaust and a 102mm tb to 140mph. You're gonna need a positive displacement blower at 650rwhp+ to take down one of these monsters.
