I figured I would get a slew of responses from this thread. Hell I am complaining about the next bext thing to slice bread according to some on a Mustang forum. It is a love it or leave it thing. I chose to leave it.
On a side not my SS Silverado is far from generic...just saying.

SCOOTER with my wife owning the trailblazer SS I know for sure that truck of yours isnt generic compared to the regular.

i don't see anything style-wise that wouldn't make it generic. sure the internals might be different, but thats not the topic we're discussing. all of the styling cues have been used on some form of chevy truck/SUV at some point in time.
