So you did a 4v swap in your GT? I apologize but I don't recognize your car and I want details.

yep. i used to talk on this forum a lot when it was a GT with minor bolt ons back a few years ago but when i started doing research on doing a 4v swap i started talking on other forums more often.

bought the GT summer of 07 early nov of 07 stock GT engine took a dump. (engine had problems with previous owner and the dealership rebuilt it for him) spun a bearing in cylinder 7, broke a connecting rod bolt, broke rod into 4 pieces, split piston in half, bent valves in the head, and 2 nice cracks in the cylinder wall. i decided to build a 4v motor. i bought a brand new WAP aluminum block, brand new 03 cobra heads, all forged internals, ARP head and main studs, and FR500 cams. i was down at college at the time (University of Northwestern Ohio) so i built the motor my self using their fancy equipment even balanced the rotating assembly and ported and polished the heads too. built it with 9.2:1 compression with the intent of going F/I eventually but didnt have the $ to do so at the time so i left it N/A. then early this summer i started doing the eaton swap.
