Default a little track day...

went to the track with a few buds, i still couldn't break 13's lol, i just kept the 18's on cause i was too lazy to swap tires and couldn't do better than a 14.4 today. just wasn't good for me. buddy got a 11.8 in his bolt on/non intercooled strim/stockish suspension 4.6. he pulled the front left off the ground twice altho it is hard to see in the vids. i'm impressed with it, especially with the 1.5 60' he got with only slicks, upr u/l's, sfc's, and lowering springs.

my slow *** run...

What rpm are you able to footbrake it until it starts wanting to move forward?

Also, do you know what PSI your buddy was running his tires at?

i could only get up to like 1400 with the street tires and was too lazy to put the slicks on. i'll prolly end up stalling this car over winter or in spring so i'm sure i'll get much better times then.

my buddy had either 8 or 10 psi in them.

You better get that suspension set up over winter time if you are going to put a different converter on. I know once I put a new converter in mine I'll want to take out my lowering springs.

You absolutely need to get those 18's off the front and put the DRs on before your next trip to the track!!! Power brake it as hard as you can and let it rip.

I STILL say that darn thing has 13.99 in it now!

it's all about your 60 ft dude. it took me a while to break 13's and now that i did i pretty regularly get them. no suspension, k&n filter, 75mm throttle body, c&l plenum, bassani catted x and flowmaster weld-ins. i pull 1.9 60 ft's sometimes... with all season tires. rev it to 2500 or a tad above and semi-slip it out of the hole. you'll shoot out of there even with stock gears.
