Default Bullitt/Mach 1 C pillars; easy swap?

I'd like to get some for my car, but I want to make sure it isn't a major adventure. Anyone else done it?

I have them on my car. Good news and Bad news. Swap takes about an hour. Pull the interior plastic pieces, its like 8 bolts on each side take the old ones off put the new ones on. HOWEVER, the stock C-Pillars swing out wider on the back quarter panel and as such when you replace them with the Mach 1/Bullitt C Pillars. You will have about a 1/2 inch of primer where the paint does not hit since it is covered by the stock C-Pillars.

That is surprising; I figured they'd paint all that entirely, then apply painted parts. Have you seen this on other cars, or only yours?

Any car that is not a Mach 1 or Bullitt will show the primer... Nobody really ever notices it, but I do. I plan on getting my entire car repainted within the next year though so not a big deal for me.

^ its not that noticeable I personally think those pillars make the car. Make sure you have plenty of that glass sealant, I used the auto store one and it isn't nearly enough you need like a good 1/2 in dia. bead on the chassis and glass. Otherwise it will leak like mine are now its on my list of things to do. Its such a PITA to get to it so I have been lazy on fixing it.

Maybe when the day comes to repaint, I'll do it. I'm not about to slop unmatched paint over a primer spot.

Notice the angle the Mach 1/Bullitt C Pillar takes? Matches the body lines of the New edge.

And now notice how much rounder this one is and doesn't flow with the rest of the car.
