Default CROWN VIC 4.6

Have a good question for you folks. Could I buy a good used 4.6L out of a Crown Vic and build it up to place in my GT. I have heard there is not much difference in the two engines. I don't know much about them. Seems like a 4.6 2v is a 4.6 2v. Needing some insight....Thanks.....

Make sure if you do that to buy a 2001+ Crown Vic motor. I think the exhaust and upper intake are different between the Mustang 4.6 and CV 4.6.
