Oh god...he seems to do this a lot haha. But yea everythign Wannabe said...that's what i was told. Because im wanting to do the same thing...I wanna launch this thing and let her rip down the track w/o worrying lol.

Good luck on the build. Id just research how the pieces go together and you could probably do it. I think the gears are the hardest part...if they're not right it will be a PITA driving around.

Get the parts and bring it by man we can knock it out in a day

Grab a carrier outta an 03/04 cobra or 05+ mustang. Find some good axles. If you want new gears get them too. Grab the bearing rebuilt kit its like 75$. Then get 2 axle seals from pep boys or something.

Welding the axle tubes is a good idea if you plan on making some serious power down the line, but I would take it to a good chassis shop to be done. They'll jig it up and make sure everything is true, cuz once you weld it, it's staying right where it is.
