Default Strut and shock selection

I'm getting new shocks and struts to go with my H&R SS springs. I was just looking for opinions on which brand to go with. I was going to get the Tokico Blue, but I was then thinking about getting the Illumina's, then I was thinking screw it and get D-spec's. Now I'm thinking Bilstein HD's, but it's for a birthday present so I don't know if thats more than my girlfriend wants to spend. So I'm just looking for what you guys think I should go with.

It is hard to beat the Bilsteins.
My two cents...

At your level of drop, I'm not so sure the blues will handle it very well... I know some people hate the blues and the h&r ss. Dreamergt has that combo if you want to talk to him

Out of those damper choices, I say bilsteins no doubt

Yeah I might as well just go with the bilsteins. Where is the cheapest place to get them?

Try all the vendors... Haneymotorsports? Idk

You can also get some stock 03/04 cobra coupe front struts used. They are the same thing as HD's and that will save you a lot of money

I found the fronts for $180, and I might be able to get a good deal on the rears for $140 for a set.

I too have Bilstein struts and shocks.
Bilstein definitley makes some quality stuff.
Tokico struts and shocks are also very nice and
a great bang for the buck.
