but it looked to me in pics like the shifter would be to close for me (it was like right on your side) so i said f it and did what i did. i called idk how many junk yards to get any color auto ceneter console and couldent find one in a 99-04
if you still need another center console i can get you one at the junkyard near my house. they have about 4-5 mustangs in there at all times. i can get you the price i would have to pay and you can pay that and shipping. plus the $1 fee it costs to get into the junkyard lol

I am very interested in the details of this swap. Did you do it yourself? What all was involved? Is it possible to get a detailed write-up.

ya i did it myself, my buddys helped also here and there

ya i could kind of help you out....some stuff (trans cooler mount, dip stick, switchs and electrical) were very time consuming because i had to fab all the brackets up and what not


getting the trans in was a big biatch. ofcourse i have bbk lts and those are the only lt's that get in the way with the t-56 bell (c4 bell mold) so me and my buddys had the trans in and out prolly 15 times. grinding the bell by the starter ear so it would fit.

ya thanks alot. but im prolly gonna stick with what i got for now seeing how i cut the center console up already lol
