How do you loosen the cap on the upper coolant fill port for on a 1997 cobra engine? Does it loosen to the left? There is a r on the cap but not sure how to open. I just acquired this car and had to replace radiator. I am going by the cobra book and want to fill at the upper port.

Only way to get it off is to put a little heat to it, don't do to much then you will melt the rubber o ring

I broke off the first 1/4 in drive, so added some penetrating lock eaze stuff, let it sit, gave it a few taps, and used a better 1/4 drive and got it. Should i be putting any anti Seize when reinstalling?

I dont think the PO had removed this in some time. I just replaced the radiator and will do a flush and refill tonight.

You can put anti seize on it but I'm bit sure if it will help with mine I just took a bolt that had a hex head on it and welded it to the cap.
