I feel like 1 of 2 of two things happened/need to happen.

You and your tuner have had some communication misconceptions or....

You need to get a new fcking tuner, if these are the words out of his mouth you need to find someone who knows what the hell he is talking about.

A bigger pump requires smaller injectors?

Really? So it can pump all that fuel to the fuel rails and it can NOT get delivered?

gotta agree, it doesnt make sense. 42 would be fine. especially with a 'bigger' pump

Yes you are right this is what he prefers. I read over some correspondence with him and it might just be a misunderstanding on my part about the fuel pump.

lol it doesn't make a fcking difference, its just gonna cost you more money to get 0 additional power going with 39 and adapters. 42s will be able to deliver more fuel... not by much but 3 lbs more... granted i've never tuned a a car before but if you can't do it with different size injectors you shouldn't be tuning cars to begin with... what does he have ONE tune mapped out for all cars with 39 lb injectors? I bet thats what it is, he tuned a cobra or got a tune from a cobra(03/04) and just loads it on every car that comes in with 39# injectors.

I really shouldn't of made that assumption but i'm feeling creative.
