Default EV-1 or EV-6 injectors

I am needing new injectors for my SC build and my tuner wants to go with 39# injectors, but I need to find out if I have the EV-1 or EV-6 style injector. How do I determine this? It is an 03' GT. If I have the EV-1 style I will need to get the adapters to convert the system to EV-6.

My tuner wants to use the 39# injectors since he is using a GT Supercar fuel pump. So the question still remains; how to I determine what injectors I have?

looking at this, it says:

Application. This complete set of 8 harnesses will convert your existing EV1 (86-93) style injector harness to EV6 (94-04) style injector harnesses.

sooooo we should have ev6's

your fuel pump doesnt matter about your injectors, FYI. just because you have X pump doesnt mean you have to run Y injectors. you just dont want your injectors to be able to flow significantly higher than your horsepower limitations (i.e. dont put 60+lb injectors on your car if your only running 400whp). the difference between 39 and 42lbers is pretty small, theres no reason why you cant run 42lb injectors.

your tuner may just prefer working with the 39lbers or something is all.

You need an adapter to have cobra 39# injectors work on your car... I forget if you need the EV1 or EV6 though. I'm no help lol

That is what I am trying to figure out. How do I tell if I have the EV-6 or EV-1type injectors? If need be I will get the adapters.

+1... i've not once heard of certian injectors only working with certian fuel pumps, thats absolutely absurd.

42lbers will be fine, i know for a fact a lot of guys on here run 42s and im sure a handful of them have a GT pump.

My tuner did not say these would only work with that pump, he was just recommending the smaller injector, because of the bigger pump.
