Exclamation 2002 Mustang GT Front End Damage

i need some input on the damage to my 2002 mustang gt. i am currently deployed and my wife was cutoff on the interstate by some jackass and basically hit the guard rail with the frontend of my ride. her feelings are hurt...when i mean her feelings i mean the cars...but anyhow we took it to the ford dealership and they estimated damage at $5,000...i told them to go to hell that's too much money. i want to put a roush stage 3 body kit on it including the roush exhaust and paint it jet black but heres the kicker...ford said the frame in the front of the vehicle was bent back a little...im not home to see or work on the car myself but im just not sure of how easy or hard of a repair this will be. if anyone could lead me the right way to get my baby fixed right the first time please let me know.
Here are some photos my wife took for me of the damage:

Those pics don't show too well, but in any case I'd shop around some reputable body shops in your area a little as dealerships are notoriously expensive. Hopefully for your wallets sake the car is insured so you're not totally s.o.l. on paying the whole repair bill.

It doesn't look bad from the pics, from what you can see. If you want to do all that work to it expect to spend some big money. Paint jobs are not cheap, and a decent one is going to cost thousands.

hard to tell from the damage. can she get some better pics?

when i hit a telephone pole my total repair cost ended up comming to over 9 grand. its hard to see how much is damaged in your pics tho so its hard to say if thats a fair guestimate, but my front end was completely f***ed up. hood, quarter panel, bumper support, radiator, hell it even broke my driver side valve cover and other things.

and to the paint job yes. the ford dealer (which i had to have them respray it THREE times because they didnt paint it worth a crap) paint job was 2300$ (granted my paint is more expensive than a plain color, but the 2300$ was for "the paint job", not all of the resprays from their crappy work).

is insurance paying for this or you out of pocket? and +1 to getting a second opinion if your paying for this out of pocket or trying to do it on the cheap with insurance money.

I just had the frame straightened on my dd. It was bent over 6 inches on the driver side and 4 inches on the passenger side. The shop charged me $400 to straighten it and install a new radiator support and radiator. So if you have a friend that car paint it, just have a shop straighten the frame and let your friend install the rest.
