Ill tell you what nick told us and what i told them on mod fords...everyone keeps getting hung up on flow numbers. You can haul out the ports on a head and make them flow crazy amounts of air...but then run really crappy times and make crappy power. Its not all about the flow, its about the design.

I put in my 2 cents, a TFS 4V is a waste of their resources, a TFS 3V like I described on the other hand would sell better than their current 2V heads.

I don't know nearly enough about the 4v head options out there in terms of flow and performance to really be opinionated on the topic. I did think most of the posts in the thread did make sense.

Biggest thing is that they have to be competitively priced to sell.

Yea, I mean Ford GT(FGT) heads are healthy heads and flow very well. When ported, Fox Lake claims 350cfm intake and like 300cfm exhaust or something like that. I too think its a waste for them to try, but its their money, not mine so let them have at it! It will still be cool to see.

After thinking about what Nick said I would love to see a 3v TFS head that would make an easy conversion.

And thats not going to happen, this would be in the $3000+ range for a pair and if you have to buy GT adjusters and rockers add another $1200+ to that price. Then a set of 4V cams are $1200+, then the 4V secondary tensioners are $200+. So now we have nearly $6000 into a set of heads only.........

I would buy the first set of TFS 3V heads for my own ride if they incorporated everything I stated. Then we can talk 350-375RWHP NA on a streetable car with an engine no heavier than a 2V with the plastic intake.
