If it's an auto 4.30s would be perfect IMO. 4.10s are nice but not enough for an auto.

If you are an auto, there is a very different route you need to take to increase performance compared to the stick guys. Most of the common bolt-on modifications people tend to do first to these cars really only make a big difference for stick cars. But either way, the best bang for your buck right off the bat would be a set of gears. I recommend 4.10s for a stick car and 4.30s for an auto. The cruising RPM difference really isn't much going up to a numerically higher set of gears, but the performance increase are huge.

No, its a stick. that would the only way id have it.. plus, it keeps my girl from driving it lol. I would love to do LT's but i try and do all the work myself cause money is tight and i dont have a lift. Plus droppin the crossmember sounds like a bitch. Do you have to do that with shortys?

Dropping the K member is a peice of cake, I would drop it regardless of LTs or Shortys just to save time and knuckles. I would go with gears for you're next mod IMO. Also You're car is very clean, you're engine bay is real clean I would get a polished alternator to finish that off.

1) Install LT's, (requires new mid-pipe, ditch the X)
2) Buy tuner, tune car
3) Buy Gears (4.10s are perfect for your cams)
4) Buy Cams

In that order

*edit*

actually I would do

cams+blower+tuner
agreed...
