Had car in shop to have subfame connectors installed, while there the PST front end kit ( polyurethane bushings ) I had ordered arrived so I figured I would have that installed as well. In the process the shop discovered broken front spring so Eibach Pro kit springs going in. Oh well wanted car lowered any way.

I'm surprised you didn't notice a broken spring... shop probably broke it for you. But you ended up with lowering springs, so really you win in the end.

Iv'e broken springs before, I had no idea it was broken until I pulled wheel off and noticed half a coil was busted off the bottom of the spring. It was just sitting there loose, car handled fine, no noise, nothing. But I certainly replaced it after I saw that haha.

69 Mustang coupe, that is exactly what happened to me, if I didnt decide to do the front end pushings I would have never known. The mechanic at the shop saw it when he took front spring out to replace upper ball joints and install new controll arm bushings.

I had a broken coil on one rear spring on my Explorer and never notice a change in handling or ride height and even towed a jetski around with no problems.
