Spoiler / Wing Options?

She's a young girl and believe it or not, the Mustang has always been her dream car. I went to a couple of dealerships with her and checked out the C-class, a beautiful Jaguar, a 3-series coupe, and a few others. She liked them all but nothing actually lit her face up like the 'Stang! Lol I know it sounds funny but she really loves Mustangs. She's not really one that's into luxury as much as she is into performance and power. Also, she is horrible at driving stick so Cobra was out of the question (trust me, I would take a Cobra over this anyday). I also was pushing for a Mitsu Evo because of the AWD and the modability, but again, she can't drive stick. She chose this car. She loved the color scheme and the sound and the interior. She's driven my Mercedes, BMW, GTR, and Caddy (not the Vette lol) and some of my family's cars (S550, 750Li, etc...). She knows what luxury is and what performance is and she's pretty good at handling a torquey car...like the time she took my CTS-V to NYC while it was snowing...lol
Also, she doesn't come from money at all. This is the hottest car in her whole family BY FAR. Not to mention she just got her license a year ago. I'll let her have fun with this car for a while. Then when we're ready to tie the not, I'll trade this car in and use it as a down payment on something else...either the newer Mustang GT or perhaps the newer Evo MR (it has dual clutch so she can drive it lol).
Bottom line: this is the car that makes her happy. Plus I don't mind driving it either.

Wow, this thread is full of win guys. I really hate it how everyone jumps to conclusions these days. Hell, I'll own my mustang and be damn proud to drive it every day of my life, whether I have a gazillion dollars or not. Granted my car will be fully built when that day comes, but still be damn proud its a mustang.
Op, sorry for all the calling out and skepticism from the lot. Like nerd said, there are some great people with lots of knowledge on this forum. We'll start you out with some performance advice for the lil 2v'er...
1. Start with a handheld tuner or a dyno tune. Helps make the auto shift quicker and firmer.
2. trans cooler and shift kit/jmod will help with the shifting and making the trans better as well.
3. Since it looks like the car already has SLP exhaust on it, skip mostly all the bolt-on's and go right for either nitrous or boost. Bolt-on's do almost literally nothing for these cars.
4. Might want to also look into sinking some moolah into the shortblock and stuffing it with forged internals to handle decent power.
On that note, and after all of this, I officially welcome you to MF.

I wasn't trying to "call you out"

To the postive posts on this thread, THANK YOU. I won't be on here all that much but when I am, I appreciate the kindness and respect and the advice.
To those who doubted me and jumped on the bandwagon, please just use this thread to realize that there are all different types of people out there. I know MULTI-millionaires who drive POS cars. Some of them say that they like to put out an image that they aren't doing so well so that their workers can bust their *** and not get jealous. Others frankly don't care about cars. If I had millions upon millions, Veyron here I come lol! But not everybody is a car enthusiast like myself. So be careful who you judge.
Teej: sounds like a plan brother. Some spray to hold us off seems good. Maybe a s/c down the road or if she decides to keep the car then we can always get the motor built.

Yea, I hear ya about the millionaires driving POS cars. A family friend works for Market America and he is pretty high up and makes millions each year. He daily drives a hyundai accent. I mean he has the Lambo and the Ferrari and Bentley and Rolls Royce, but he doesnt drive them too often.

back to the topic here, i have a steeda functional race wing and i love it. my friends all love it too, and the ones with stangs wish i didnt have it because they refuse to to get it as long as i have it lol. also, you dont see it too often. i got it, not for the function, but the looks. i thought it was as close to street racer as i would get, since i refuse to rice the car out. if she's into the import/street racer type look, have her take a look at my car, still acceptable by the mustang crowds, but the import guys respect it too. a good balance and in my opinion the best look for these cars (thats why i did it lol). good luck with whatever you decide!
