No, they really don't help with anything except matching your headlights/corner lights, haha. But that's why I got them... and I think they look great.

That's about as cheap as you can get them (they're "DEPO" brand... seem like decent quality to me, as those are the same ones I have... got mine for $50 total).

Anyway, I don't drive it in the snow THAT much, haha. And usually, even if there is snow, the roads are pretty clear, so it's not bad.
