A lot of people seem to feel adding weight and complexity is a desirable thing--I have seen worse, though I really cannot remember when.

IMHO the 20" or ??? chrome wheels with the fake¹ rivets are worse than the "lambo" doors--pure pimp ghetto sled. The rear bumper cover is pretty ghastly too...

All that said, I have to agree with your assessment--a "dream 'Stang ruined!"

--------------------------------------------
¹ - I don't like fake stuff, like the hood and side scoops on my GT. I had a bad experience with a hot looking girl in the 7th grade...

call him and ask him if he still has all the original parts (such as the original door hinges) and if he'll come down in price since his car needs too much work in order for it to be fixed

from the first pic i didnt think it was that bad (just the wheels and doors) and thats a quick, easy, not too expensive fix. then i saw the body parts and wanted to vomit. i cant imagine how much it would be to respray the car with that color after you get replacement body panels. unless that car goes for the 10 grand he has it listed for, i wouldnt touch it. it needs another 10 grand to not look like s***.

My mother used to say "Some people have no taste but that in their mouth."

Default Those tail-lights...

Yeah there are a lot of things I would do VERY differently on that car, but what did it for me was the aluminum foil tail-lights.. See those on sooo many civics and while a pretty fun car, the lights just look cheesy, it used to be unique, but now everyone can get a hold of those lights, and its just gotten boring. Thats my 2 cents, lol.
