Hey everyone!

Is our section really this dead? I checked the Marketplace and that's only got a few threads. Where did everyone go?

I've been looking at cars to buy all week and decided to check here for anything and there's nothin.

..Right now I'm trying to decide between a 70 Nova and a 98 Cobra. The Cobra's built up and darn near perfect with a V3 but it's on a stock bottom end. The Nova's 90% done but not quite driveable yet. So my decisions are easy to work on but not done or beautiful time bomb. lol

Funny you should drop by. I was reading an old thread CliffyK put together to defeat the airbag light. Thought I would poke around.

You have to go to facebook man, there are a few groups worthwhile. Most of the truly knowledgeable people from corral and a few other boards are still alive and kicking on those.

As far as your car choice. F 4 valves. LOL

I'm building a high compression 4v Teksid build for my 99 Cobra. It is expensive as all hell to buy anything for. I am 5 grand deep already, but should put out great power.

11.5:1 CR ,custom grind cams, 03 Cobra heads, valve job, bronze guides, BTR valve springs, Boss 302 Rods, Forged Flat Tops, Kooks Lts, ported intake, 4.30s out back. Probably will run corn fuel and spin that thing north of 8k RPM. Should scoot pretty well and surprise a few coyotes on their high horse.
