I'm on FB waay to much already. Most of the SN FB pages are just filled with kids and I had to excuse myself from most of them, lol.

I tried to find an SN Cobra but just about every single one I found had a Douche Bag owner, lol. They used words like "Limited" and said things like "it's too fast for you to drive unless they had the money in hand." Mind you, this was from a guy trying to sell a high mileage Cobra with a V3 and a stock bottom end. I'm almost 40, I'll be damned if I'm giong to deal with punk kids that remind me of me when I was their age. After the 3rd ones text messages reached a certain level of pain, I said to hell with it. Oddly all of the Cobra owners that were D-bags had black cars, none of the others were that way. Old man grump rant over.

I ended up buying a 68 Coupe. For the last few years I've been saving for a new Shelby and I kept telling myself, the 50k+ I was going to spend would be worth it, meanwhile I still didn't have a Mustang and it all just broke down and I said I had enough of not having a project. I needed my Mustang therapy.

My wife gave me the suggestion to buy an old car that runs and drives and then dump my Shelby fund into it. I paid $6,700 for it and of course I'll be doing it myself so there's no need to go try and spend $35k on it yet. I've got more than enough work to last me the next year or two. I still miss my 96 but this will be just as fun and probably more satisfying for me since it takes me back to my Old car roots.

Nothin Fancy; H.O. Block 347w, big Lunati cam, T-5 trans, 4.11 gears, manual disc brake conversion. ..and Manual steering so I'm getting my Gym on. Already lost 6lbs, lol.

Floors are mostly solid but there are lots of little cancer spots and cracks on the under body and trunk.

Whats up nerd. I'm still here and there. My car is almost done at the chassis shop, 14 point 8.50 cert cage, mini tubs, tubular front end strut tower forward, through the floor connections, afco coilovers, chute etc etc. Also the new moser m88 8.8 rear housing narrowed with 35 spline strange axles and a spool. Going big. New engine build, th400, f1 procharger on e85. should run well. I might throw up a new build thread.

Soooooo, the '68 was just a big PITA, lol. I wanted to DRIVE and race and not spend so much time under the car again doing a resto before getting to enjoy it.

I bought a '16 GT PP.

Hopefully I'll start another SN95 build next year. The S550 is just for driving & racing but won't ever be a track only car.
