Default Wanna go a little faster

I just got a 2002 mustang gt automatic I really wanna get my 0-60 time down to about 4.8-5.0 but I don't wanna have a loud car. Can you please help me with why mods I need. All I basically want is for the car to accelerate faster thanks

Put 4.10 gears in it.
FYI worrying about 0-60 times is stuff 13yr old boys worry about while reading Motor Trend

1st off, "0-60" times are a thing of the past. I would look more into improving your 8th or quarter mile times. Sadly, the 2V mustang dosen't do to well with simple bolt on's. If you wanna go a little faster I would say 410's (perfect for a auto) and a higher stall tourque converter. Pretty sure one of the guys here will reccommend a good converter for you. Good luck..

I actually don't remember the last time somebody actually even referred to a 0-60 time... 60ft is the new 0-60

Yep. 4.10 gears (do NOT do 3.73's on your auto, trust me. The automatic in your car is a 4 speed, and it pretty much sucks lol) and a shift kit.

Also, I think a good tune would probably wake up your car too. I plan on buying the SCT/X3 tuner soon. The combination of those 3 things should wake your stock automatic up quite a bit.

You could sell your car and get an 2011 Mustang. Its quiet and you can gain anywhere from 45-155 rwhp.
