most likely it did not come with a trunk button if its not electrical windows and locks. Also maybe the 96 didn't have that option, mine is a 97 GT. Could be a possibility right?

It sounds like you have a 248A package Mustang. Basically a striped down GT with no power options

Is there a way to comfirm it is a 248A package, like by vin or something. It does have power mirrors and has a spoiler but I dont think its a stock spolier, (acutally I dont know what kinda spolier it is.) here is a pic of it.



also I think it has the stock v6 seats with no power of course, no fog lights, no rear defroster, 3.27 rear gear, the cup holder folds out of the console ( all 96 gts may be like that). It doesnt have a rear sway bar ethier unless the stock one broke and the guy before just took it off.

Do you mean the 96 GT in general or the stripped down GT? I own a 96 GT with electric everything and I have the trunk button in the glove box. Same with my 97 coupe.

Does it have a steering wheel?
