Talking Putting in a side view vs. LED

Anyone help me with the installation of a passanger side view mirror? Also if I went with LED how's the wiring connection difference and are there any electrical power issues/drawback from the LED switch.

Thanks guys I love reading your articles and find them very knowledgable.

Um what? You are putting on a passenger side view mirror with LED's? If that's the case, the stock ones don't have any wiring going to them so you have to do a custom wiring job. Also depends on what they do. Some mirrors have a light on the bottom to see when you get in/out of the car. Some have red LED's to serve as a blinker.

Post a pic of them...FYI you my get flamed for this so suit up.

Maybe he is talking about the mirrors with the arrow on the glass? So when you signal it lights up. Don't know though.

I think darkshadow meant something like this without the lights on the side/rear like in your link

Yeah those still look like s***. I'm sure there is a way to just retrofit the mirror arrows into the stock piece, but it seems like a lot of work for something so small.
