Kerns: Somebody offered me $8500 cash for the mach as it sits now. What do you think? i was thinking about getting a 01 Cobra Front bumper , fixing the hood.

ROFL thats like a 3-4MPH crash... that guy is full of ****, your insurance company will take car of that easily. Mustangs have a bumper cover rating of 5MPH before they fail and transfer energy to the bumper, Yours looks like it was just hardly touched. No measurable crush on your car at all....

ive walked away from MUCH more severe wrecks than that involving totaled vehicles and nothing more to show for it than some scratches. that guy should be stabbed for being a waste of human existance.

Dude I would't sell the car over that damage thats nothing. You don't need to "find" a mach 1 hood for sale, the body shop will be able to order and find whatever you need. As the driver of the explorer in reality it does't matter if its the slightest fender bender, the back is an easy thing to mess up very easily and an unexpected jolt can be all that it takes to throw it out of whack, I wouldn't try to think about it to much because its all through the insurance anyway.

wow I was expecting catastrophic damage, that is like nothing lol. Please don't be dumb fix it through insurance there's probably less than 500.00-600.00 worth of damage there. Don't worry about the other guy insurance will take care of it. That's why you pair for it.

Not a chance would I take it. For that mileage without the damage it would go for 12000$ most likely. Its not going to cost 3500$ to repair the damage.

Make sure your subframe is not bent it doesn't take a lot of impact to tweak it. If it did get messed up, you're going to need to get it on a frame machine to be perfect.

That's exactly what I'd do. fix it and go with the cobra front bumper. The mach's look good with either a 99 or a 03 cobra bumper.

I believe the hood could be fixed. is is broke on the under side or just the top layer of the hood. Those hoods are expensive even if you find a used one.
