Is -1.3 camber going to wear tires to fast?
So I have Steeda sport springs and I went for an alignment today after putting the new wheels and tires on. The closest they could get without camber plates is -1.3 camber. can;t remember the tow but it was in the green. Before we started camber was -1.9 and wearing the tires real bad on the inside of the tread. Do you think these new specs will be ok on my new tires or am I forced to spend 200 bucks on CC plates and another 75 bucks for alignment?

-1.3° camber will cause the tires to wear on the inside edge, noticeably in 10k to 15k miles.
It will also make the car handle very nicely, reducing tire roll-under and plowing in sharper turns.
I purposely run -1.3° (with Steeda 4-bolt CC-plates) to achieve this better handling, a lot of Auto-X guys run -3.0° or more. If tire wear were my major concern I'd drive a Corolla...

With a good driver... a Corolla will kick LOTS of **** on the AX course
+1 on the savant.... I run 2° and my last set of 888's were corded on the inside with plenty of tread across the rest of the tire.

Back when kids were in college, and there were still mortgage payments, I had an '86 Corolla (early production, one of the last RWD sedans)--a whopping 74HP, sold it in 1998 with 305k on it after my daughter had driven it for 4 years.
As you have said, properly driven it could be both fast and fun--it was unlikely you could out accelerate anyone, but with the 5-speed and RWD you could sure as crap out drive them. Top speed with the windows down was 97 mph, with the windows up you could get it up to 105.
Bob Hall, considered to be the "father of the Miata" used to have as his signature "If you can't drive fast with 90HP, 900 won't help."

So if tire wear is my main concern get the caster camber plates huh. What is a good set of plates for a budget? As in 150 bucks or less? I only plan to straight line the car so factory specs will suit my needs. Yeah I'm a pansy lol

My brother has a set of the UPR "Shark" CC plates, they are OK (which in my vocabulary means acceptable, not quite up to good).
I have the Steeda 4-bolt plates, the MM units are also a best choice as are most any 4-bolt set.
