I wouldn't buy the white one dude. Seriously. That black one is redicluous for that price. At the absolute worst case say it doesn't have a built motor and for some retarded reason the engine blows. You can buy a stock 2v engine for like 700$. If you were to do a "return to stock" and sell off the parts. You could make 5-6 grand off the parts alone. Most likely though since the guy went through the trouble of putting on a Reichard Racing intake (which go for 1400$ new btw) he probably had the car fully built. That turbo setup new is worth 5500$ alone. Granted you wouldn't make that back but I would be very surprised if you couldn't get 3500$ for the turbo setup.

Wouldn't even do that man. Seriously. Its like buying a Mach1 for 13000$ when you could buy a Whippled 3.4L Cobra with the same mileage and all the upgrades for 15000$. That is essentially what you are doing taking the white Saleen which is just a glorified GT over the black one.
I genuinely hope he turns you down so you can buy the black Saleen. If I had the money right now I would buy the black one and sell my car.

Buy the white one at asking price. It's a good deal and an unmolested car is a much better start that picking up a modded car when you don't really know it's history.
White Saleen 18s should be considered.
