Default Best kind/type of switch to use on a killswitch kit

I'm highly considering installing a kill switch on my mustang and was wonderin what tools/equipment i would need. Is it as simple as a switch and wire?

should i use a toggle switch or a button that clicks on and off? what is your opinion?

It would be similar to installing a Push Button Start in the sense that you are tying into the starter wires from the ignition key.

I would use a toggle switch much like an autozone type toggle switch hidden somewhere out of sight that only you know where it is. You may need to use a relay setup as to not blow out the toggle switch with the amps that the starter will initially pull.

I forget what wires are what without looking at my diagrams I made when doing this but IF the wires are the same as as my 04 GT the wires labled here are what I was dealing with.

You could simply spice a toggle switch inline of the starter wire from the ignition to the starter, but again you have to make sure it can withstand the amp pull and now blow out. Even though it is only energized for a couple of seconds when the car is trying to start, too many amps through it may fry the contacts in the switch.

How much amperage rating should the switch be? I forgot how much the starter puts out in amps. I saw at radioshack that rated 25amps. Is that good for what I'm trying to do?
