Default cracked rim...

so im home for christmas and my dad thought that since im staying at his house it would be ok to take my car to the store this morning since i was asleep. on the way home he "gave it some love in 2nd gear turning left" (his exact words) and the back end kicked out more than he expected. he ended up hitting the median and cracked my drivers front rim. my rims are 18x9 chrome saleens.

he said he was going to replace the wheel, but should i let him do that or let him help me pay for different ones. i was thinking either black or black chrome saleens, or the stealth fr500s. any opinions?

if you want new rims and if you can swing for a new set, have him help out with them.

Have him buy the one to replace the one he broke. If you have him help you buy a set or new wheels then you will be stuck with 3 wheels that will be damn near impossible to sell.

PM sent to Fidel and MC. my other problem is that i have had 4:10's sitting in my house for a while waiting for my mechanic to have some free time to install them, if i decide to go down the new wheels route, i will have to wait longer to get my gears installed.

Keep the saleens. But get bigger tires. You look like your wheels are riding on the pavement. Have him pay for an 18x10 and you buy the other one and get new tires for it so you end out on top. Any of those wheel choices would look good on your car though. Good luck.
