My cousin is thinking about buying this saleen.

Has anybody ever bought a car online? any thoughts or tips?

Does anyone know the best way to pay for a car online? paypal won't let you pay for the whole car online.

for deal like this. I'd just pay the deposit of 1000 then take a bank check with them to pick it up.

I bought one off of ebay from a dealer and they didnt ask for a deposit. I just flew up and picked it up. I think they just ended the auction early in my case.

alright, isn't kinda risky just sending them a bank check in the mail then having them ship the car.

Dont be lazy and go pick it up yourself.. its going to be cheaper than shipping a car to fly to where it is and drive back.

from California to maryland shipping is 899.

Its not gonna be 900 to go get it...

I dont understand why anyone in their right mind would buy a car site unseen, then have it shipped.... Praying that its what you paid for..

see if someone on here will go check it out for you, if they give you the thumbs up buy and have it shipped... thats not bad from Cali to MD. Also you can get Purchase protection incase someone wants to F**k you over, Personally I would fly over get it and drive it back.

ya +1 if i was going to buy a car i would go look at it 100%. whats 5 600$ when your spending 20,000$
