H&R Super Sport Springs

H&R Super Sport Springs
So a friend of mine is giving me his brand new lowering springs to me for free. Anyways, I think that they're for a coupe and I have a vert. So is this going to work out? BTW, my whole suspension is stock right now. (I have a 2004 GT VERT)
1. What other supporting suspension am I going to need for them?
2. Are new struts/shocks a must?
Thank You

Your tires will wear if it's not aligned properly - which it won't be without CC plates and an aligment. And they'll wear on one of the sides, I don't know which of the top of my head. They should work - but since your car is heavier, you might see it sits lower than it would if it were a coupe - as the springs are made for a certain weight... (someone please correct me if I'm wrong here).

Springs should have no effect on your tire wear, as long as you get it properly aligned after the install. With that much drop, you will almost certainly need CC Plates to get it aligned to decent street specs.
It would be a very good idea to upgrade your shocks/struts since the spring rates are being increased. KONI STR.T units would be good if you are on a tight budget. Bilsteins are good if you have a little more money.
