I have 4.10s and a 3800 stall and wish I went with 4.30s. I can't tell you what the difference would be between 3.73s and 4.10s but I can tell you if you are thinking 4.10s get 4.30s.

The rpm difference in minimal so your MPG won't be much different if any BUT the difference will be noticeable performance wise.

And I don't understand why you can't get 4.30s if you plan on a stall. Can you elaborate on what you mean?

And make sure you are taking the advice of people who have an auto with gears. I don't understand how so many people can post about gears in an auto when they don't have an auto or gears.

My 5spd car traps ~111mph @ 6250rpm in 4th gear. 4.10 gears with 275-40-17 tires. I also fear that more power will get me in sustained high rpms on the big end.

I dunno why either lol but that's what I was told, the guy that told me did have a stall and 4.10's. But knowing that you have a stall/4.10's and want 4.30's really makes me think. Only thing tho with 4.30's I think I'd run out of gear when I decide to spray this car.

With a stall, gears and spray you are going to need new tires. Just get 27-28" tires.

i plan on runnin some radials and spraying halfway thru first or so. i dont want to run 28" tires as i've never found any 17" dr's that are 28's.
