Default Bumper install..hardware needed?

So I bought a replacement front bumper pre painted on ebay. It has not gotten here yet and I am curious about both the removal procedure as well as what new hardware if any I will need. This will just be another GT bumper not a termi or anything. Do I even need new hardware? The kit is 30 bucks on LRS and even includes rivets which I am not sure are even needed? I am only changing over the outter cover.

I bought my bumper and all hardware from LRS. The hardware sent was just what I needed...

Looks like I need to contact the person I bought my bumper from and make sure that the brackets are already on the new bumper. If not I will need to order the kit just for those rivets and buy a rivet gun too

Glad to see the car is still coming along soldier

Good luck buddy! I wish I could hit 400 but I need more boost and fuel. I am loosing so much at this altitude that I am probably around 319 to the wheels here.

you gotta pull the plastic mud guard back (or whatever you want to call it that is up under the front wheels) and reach behind the bumper to find 2 nuts that hold on each side. Just get on them with a extended socket (forgot which size, I wana say around 10mm) and just take them off, pull out gently, and lift off the car.

Thanks guys I dread trying to get the air filter setup for the vortech back on there assuming I am thinking of the same things as y'all are describing. One the plus side I found out the brackets are already on the new bumper!

yup there is no unscrewing, you just take the 2 nuts off on each side
(totaling 4) and then you just kinda pull the bumper out of whatever hole those nuts secure to. Piece of cake.

do you have a mess under your bumper in regards to air intake? lol
