http://augusta.craigslist.org/pts/2156019328.html

the first picture looks like a 4.6 out of an 05, but the second is a cobra, he says 99 cobra 3.8? so which is it?

Anything "SVT Cobra" never came with a V6....but yeah, those pics don't look like they are of the same engine. You could email/call and ask to find out for sure, but the listing just seems weird.

The first one looks more like a 3.8L from a Camaro to me. The second one is just a split port 3.8L from any V6 mustang 99 and up. Definitely not a cobra motor.

I love how he says he pulled the motor as soon as he bought the car to put a v8 in but the motor and tranny has 100k on it?!?

Searching for stuff on Craiglist and then trying to sift through the b.s. is like walking into a Wal-Mart on black Friday just a few minutes after a 7.2 earthquake. I really do hate that site but yet every so often I'm compelled to waste an hour digging around for stuff there. Anyway, that first engine I'm almost positive is a 3V 4.6, second is a 3.8 V6 as somebody already mentioned. And who knows what the hell's going on with the sellers description in the rest of the ad, he obviously is mildly retarded at best and should probably grab his box of crayons and get back to work.
