I had a buddy running 275/60's on a cammed NA car and was launching fine. I'll be trying out the same setup this season. You figure people have no trouble launching with 3.73's on street wheels with drag radials, I think with the lower weight of the race wheels that should compensate for the extra hook from the sidewall.

My buddy has a 8 second fox and its got a YSi with a 265/60/15 MT ET radial and 3.73s.. Launches its *** off lol
