How much do like stage 1,2,3 cams cost?

plan on $2000. 600 for cams. 600 for install. 300 for springs/retainers. 200 for a new timing kit since you have high miles. 100 for gaskets, fluids, and miscellaneous parts. 500 for a tune. its a lot of money for sure.

dang bro thats some bank i need to get lol..in your opinion what brand of cams should i get?

OP, if you don't plan on doing the heads you might want to stick with something that's gonna give you acceptable ptv clearance. With that said i'd highly recommend either MHS stage 2's or CMS stage 1's. Both will work great with the stock PI head, stock valve springs, and will not have any ptv contact when installed at the advertised specs. I went with MHS stage 2's, and couldn't be happier.

I know this will bring out all of the comments, but... I absolutely love my HiTech StageII cams. They sound great and pull hard. I have had no issues at all with them.

MHT are also a good choice.

If you are going to make the investment, get them right the first time. You don't want to wish you had gotten a hotter cam later on. My two cents... go with StageII's. If you plan to add boost later, get blower cams now.

sounds great to me guys..i have one thing on my side..i am a very good saver..so all i need is time and things will happen for the best ..definatly a great thread..thanks to all

i love these fourms..you guys know yalls stuff ..its awsome!
