Sup guys, seems like every week or so as I progress on my vortech install I run into new questions and ideas.. Quick status update.. head unit / injectors installed. piping 90% complete (switched to blow thru with pmas hpx sensor). Right now Im thinking about fuel while I wait for a few pieces to feed and drain oil from headunit..

I saw on vmp they sell a 310lph ford returnless pump. I assume this is the ford gt super car pump.. I know some modding will be needed to make it fit which is no big deal.. But how can I mod my tank in such a fashion that I wont need to worry about running the pump dry if i were to hit 1/4 tank of gas.. I dont really want to buy a cobra tank.. So if i can mod mine to work that would be awesome.

if you're going to stick with the GT tank then you're going to have to deal with not going under 1/4 tank. the baffling inside the GT tank wasnt designed for forced induction, so you would either have to resist the urge to punch it when you're running low on fuel or switch tanks.

and as far as modding for the fuel pump, its cake. all you have to do is cut the pigtail wires and crimp on female spade connectors.

and good move going blow thru. i did the same thing and my car runs great.

you might want to think about going with a BAP as well. one guy on my local forums went with the GT pump and maxed his out very close to his redline.
