I want to do an overdrive crank but talking to a few that have done it (Jivepepper) you'll go through an alt once a year so a few PSI more boost ain't worth it to me

You could but that would slow the whole setup down and prolly not gain much with the blower so it defeats the purpose

the s/c pulley wouldnt be affected. it would spin the same rpms regardless of the alt pulley

Hmmm, would think you'd have to get a bit of a larger belt for the underdrive on the alt

the belt size i dont know on size. i dont really know how much lead way the tensioner has. i would assume if upgrading to a o/d pulley and/or bigger alt pulley( to balance out the proper rpms so not to burn it up) would more than likely need a longer belt

Yes and in turn would slow it all down so the benefit of the overdrive crank pulley is not as much gain boost wise and just becomes a 400.00 dollar harmonic balancer

nomatter how short or long a belt is, the rpm of the s/c pulley, in relation to the engine rpm, is the size of the crank pulley

This turned into a lot of spending money on things when it's not really needed.

only good thing about that is that it would be safe to run under 11.0s at the track =)
