Valve covers?

~$200 isn't worth it. I'd put that money elsewhere. Just sucks with you having a silver car. The block itself is already silver/grey color. So by doing the covers in silver I think would look odd/ too "bright" under the hood. Whatever color you go with I'd add some same color accents around the engine bay to tie it together and not have them so random looking. Engine bay dress has a very fine line of looking good or overdone.

Yea i mean im gonna get that stupid hood liner off and have the underside of my hood panted then im gonna i guess just clean the motor and see how i feel about it before i rip the valve covers off.
I just want to be able to pop my hood and not cringe haha.

My car is silver and I have the blue ford motorsport valve covers. Unlike ubers car the only thing I have blue is the valve covers, and they seem to go nicely with the silver. Black might not be bad if you were to throw some chrome trim pieces in.

And I don't know what you guys are talking about getting the valve covers off. When I had my 2v it came off no problem, and with my 4v setup it slid right on and off. Just a bit of finagling and it was no problem.
