I used to recommend the baseline uppers to people until a set broke on my buddy's mid-low 13 second automatic car........
Well I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm sure people have had problems with Team Z also. I don't think there is a company out there that hasn't had problems with their products. I mean there are a lot of cars out there that are a lot faster than your buddies car running Baseline stuff with no problems (i.e. 7-10 second cars).
Also, maybe it's possible your buddy installed them incorrectly?

A mild bolt-on automatic running 13.2-13.4 shouldn't crack any set of control arms in multiple places........
