Something crappy and overly complicated for what you get. A good head unit, a simple R/F or Alpine 4 chan, good sets of component and mids, plus a small R/F or Alpine single and a 10" will blow away any mach system.

Those Mach 1000 parts are generally worth something, Ford discontinued them years ago and some people like to have them as a factory upgrade and don't want to mess with putting in a GOOD sound system. They sound just fine, but like sxynerd said you can do much better and it won't even cost too much. Good head unit, 4 channel amp running into some decent component speakers, and a good mono block amp powering a single sub (10 or 12) and you've got a great sound system and if you shop around you should be able to do it all under $1,000.

Yeah I'll keep the Mach. Its good for what it's suppose to do. $1,000 is too much to spend on speakers.

Yea you can do it for less than $1000 if you shop around a bit. audiobhan 1800 watt mono amp $160 used. Pioneer head unit $140 amp kit $20, single-sub box 15" $45, 15" sub amazon $79 same sub $200 in stores. do the install yourself for free that puts me at $444 and it hits ALOT harder and has more depth to the sound than any mach460 or mach1000. To somewhat balance out the added weight the mach factory box was removed from the rear and the tweeters were remounted to the rear panel and the sub is firing up sisnce its a 15" and there is now way to have it upright.
