If you just wanna mess around, I'd get a 5-speed. The automatic in these Mustangs rob power and have really crappy shift points (unless you tune it or get a shift kit) but honestly, getting a V8 Mustang and a automatic are just an odd combination, at least in my opinion. Coupes are for manuals, verts are for automatics. You won't regret the manual, but I would recommend a short throw kit.
