Head swap with ARP studs...assistance please

Hey fellas..I have an '02 mustang gt, alllllmost have the funds saved up for the Twisted Wedge heads. I have big plans for this car in the future so I wanna do it right, so I'm gonna put studs in...my questions...Do you have to pull the motor to put the heads on with studs? and also...i realize the bolt holes in the block will have to be cleaned and chased...but will they have to be honed? Thanks in advance

might want to talk with a engine builder about the honing the stud holes but running a tap down in them and then cleaning them back out is a very good idea and will help with the new stud install. i personally would pull the engine by dropping the k-frame. this will make the head swap easier plus you can go in and clean everything back up in the motor department. make it spiffy!

i would highly recommend pulling the motor to do the head swap. if you dont, make sure you have tons of asprin, cuz your gonna have one hell of a headache.

Whats the goals for the car? Power goal, streetable, and ideal setup?

The driver side head won't go on with the head studs on the block. It's not a big deal with bolts, but I don't think it's possible with head studs.
