I'm surprised at your trap speed to be honest. Spinning isn't really going to effect your trap speed much although as I'm sure you are aware it will destroy your ET. With your RWHP and the weight of the car I would expect you to trap around 110mph or so. 106 seems really low.

Yes, that is pretty much what I was thinking.
Spinning tires a bit can actually help the trap speed.

It could be something out of calibration on the trap timing equipment. I run at two tracks in my area and I ALWAYS trap 4-5mph faster at Rockingham Dragway. I figure since it is a IHRA sanctioned track, the equipment must be checked often enough to trust it over the other local small town track. Strange though because there is a BIG difference between 107mph and 112mph.

Get that intercooler and some DRs and you will be amazed at the difference!!!
Keep on having fun with it! That is the primary rule.

Nice work man, it'll only get better too. I wish that track was closer I'd meet up there one night. That reminds me I need to hit up Firebird sometime.

Thanks man. Going back out on Feb 27th for club day. Will try to beat this time. I know the car has more in it. Speedworld is as far for you as Firebird is for me.
