Default Hit the track last night

Went to my local strip last night to see how the car does now that the S/C is on. When I got out there there were 3 Stangs and 2 Corvettes. Vetts were running low 12's, the one GT (new model with an Edelbrock S/C) pulled off an 11.2, The other 2 GT's were older, one with a Vortech running high 13's and the other was stock running high 14's. I did 4 runs and my best time was 13.9 at 106. This is the first time I have raced the car and the first time racing in years. Spun like crazy with the street tires, but the car pulled hard. There were maybe a total of 12 cars out last night which surprised me. Hondas mostly. Overall I had a good time. Now I need to get the intercooler on, retune and some sticky tires and I should do better. Here is my time slip.

holy 60'

You were spinning hard. Suspension, tires and more boost should do the trick.

Actually the 106 trap speed is pretty impressive. I take you're at full weight with full bolt ons right now?

What is the altitude where you were running?

The 60' time indicates that you could shave ~.7 off your ET with a modest 1.90 60'. That would not be hard to achieve with DRs (1.7-1.8 is more probable).

Intercooler will be critical, especially if you hot lap it any.

I would have guessed a higher trap speed with 340rwhp.
Have fun with it, and the times will come down with practice.
