Default Pics of my Clutch install

The throwout bearing went out in on the way home one day, decided to take the project on myself. Here is a vid of the noise it was making followed by pics of the swap.
Clutch Noise

Got the flywheel resurfaced for $40 bucks.

Bought the center force dual friction clutch $350

Tried to put the clutch in last night by myself but that was a joke it was hard as hell and kept slipping on the stand I made. So I will try it again tonight with some help.

Nice pics ,Wow that TB was gone and looks like it did some damage to the input shaft also.
But why is that tranny fluid so black in color?
I would think it should be redish in color useless use used royal purple then I can see why its that color

yea when I pulled the pressure plate all the bearings fell out, trans fluids black cause I never changed the trans fluid out, doubt the previous owner did either. the Input shaft is good it was just dirty I cleaned it off very good the new throw out bearing is on and slides very smooth, I did replace the fulcrum stud (clutch ball) it had a groove in it.

Good work doing it yourself. I wish I could have changed mine myself, but I never have a day off from work on the weekends, and I'm away at school during the week. But my TOB is squealing again and I had the clutch and new bearings put in about 1k miles ago. Dropping mine off Friday for them to put in another bearing (Yay for warrantys)

Thats probably the dirtiest trans fluid I've seen in a long long time, should really keep up on that. Also looks like you may need a new pinion seal.

I agree with the pinion seal.....6 bucks, very cheap and easy to replace for you while you're at that stage right now.
