I agree with these guys. Beyond a tune, and aside from from heads, cams, or a power adder, there's not really anything that's going to make a good difference for you.

Forget the 99 4v's. There are so many issues, even from those that are post "the fix". You are much better off getting a Mach 1 or an 01 Cobra if you want a N/A 4v.

And don't count out the 96-98 Cobras. They can be had for pretty good deals, and are a head swap away from making great power. I'm looking to get a pair of '04 Aviator heads for $400. But I'm kind of bias.

What issues? If anything these are the most reliable of the bunch from what i've seen... especially the romeo based models. I do agree though that the Mach or Cobra is a better option if the op wants to spend a little more.
