No, he's saying that the IRS he is getting has 3.55's in it and that he is seeing 4.10's or better in his near future. What deal did you get and what all is included?

What teej said....and Teej- most of the guys out here want anywhere from $600-$1000 just for the IRS. It'll be $500 for the IRS and swap since I don't have the means to put it in. His IRS is stock unfortunately Oh well, can't be too picky. He's not a greedy guy and just wants to cover the cost. He never abused it (like 5k Launches)

First of all grats on the hard work finding the good deal, I stuck with it and stayed patient and got lucky as well. I desperately wish they would have thrown 5 gears in the 4R70W. I think thats my #1 gripe about my car, I really really need a 4th non-OD gear sometimes on the highway. So needless to say i'm droolin a bit on the 6 speed.

So, i'm wondering, do any of you guys ever street race? If so what kind of streets and up to how fast? Because.....90% of my races are on the highway and go above 120MPH at which point 4.56's BROOOOOOOO would be a ****ing joke. If I dropped 4.10s in my rig Id have to race in overdrive just to START seeing big boy speeds, anybody ever tried that? Dropping 4.10s in a 3650 requires you to hit 4150ish RPMs in your overdrive before you start seeing big boy speeds. The most you can do with an race-practical gear is barely 100MPH. Yikes.........

With that being said, 6.14s OR GO HOME, cuz after all 6.14s are only 50-100RPM diff than 5.71s which are only 50-100RPM diff than 5.13s amirite?

Well with 3.55's I can hit 140mph at 6k in 4th...just doesnt get there the fastest. Our cars really should have came with a 6 speed factory just because the drop from 4-5 is just huge. With a 6 speed I really wouldnt have any issue going with 4.30's just because you have a usable 5th gear if you need to pull, but still remain civil on the highway.

Yea, 4.30s are like 4.10s... if you go 3.73s you might as well have gone 3.90s or 4.10s... if you go 4.10s you might has well gone 4.30s the difference is pretty negligible

Also, you will probably want to do bushings soon as well as an IRS brace or diff cover. After those two things you'll be loving life!!! Delrin is the only acceptable bushing material btw. All others are not as beneficial and are not much improvement over stock. If you need any links to anything for the IRS, you know where to find me.
Did you install the bushings yourself? My next mod is going to be bushings and I was wanting a judge on difficulty and time.
